Could I have a lookup please for a Rosa Jane Woolmington born 1852 Holborn. Could be in the Pancras area in 1871 as married in Sept 1871 Pancras.

After I did the request, went off into another tangent, Rosa was born in Holborn but her parents I think came from Somerset. Don't know her father but guessing from the 1881 census that her mother is Elizabeth Woolmington born abt 1814 in Somerset.
Perhaps they went back to Somerset in 1871, could be there 1861 although I think they would be in London, (somewhere) there is also a sister, Eliza Amelia born 1855 Pancras.
Woolmington is a very prevelant in Somerset.

Hi, Think I have found them on the 1851 census indexed under Wadmington but clearly should be Woolmington
1570/280 12 Lower Ann Street Lambeth
John Woolmington 30 can not read occupation born Dorset ? ?adf?
Elizabeth 37 dress maker born Somerset
John 2 born Lambeth
Catherine Smith visitor (wid) 68 born Devonshire
William Smith visitor 17 ? maker born Chard Somersetshire
All very feint writing.

Thanks for the lookups - I had found Rosa Jane in an 1871 census index for Middlesex but perhaps the name is spelt wrong as well in that census. At least I now have a father to link to her and can follow that up.
