I live in the next but one village to Brent Eleigh (Milden is between us)
I will be going to the SLHC offices in Ipswich on Monday and may be able to call in on the way home in the afternoon.
Will check if husband John will be needing the digi-camera if not, I will try and find monuments and take photographs.

No problem, will see what I can find for you. I thought a little while ago that as the sun is shining bright and we have a wonderful big blue sky it's a shame I can't fit it in today
Husband is away on an annual motorbike ride that he organises in memory of a dear friend - and I know he has the camera.
I can picture them now - probably at Snape Maltings, or The Ramsholt Arms scaring the diners who are probably thinking they are a lot of people looking for trouble - then they remove their crash hats to reveal their ages and order orange juice
Hope to have some good news for you next week

There was no sign of any other Longden graves.
I also looked around inside the church to see if there were any lists of clergy or any memorials - no luck, could not find anything. Just memorials to benefactors.

oooooops!
Did not mean to leave my handbag in shot
You may notice that there is quite a gap between the two Longden headstones, there may be another Longden grave between them - you could try writing to the Churchwarden who would have the 'map' of the churchyard.

I forgot to take a soft bristle brush with me, the headstones are c overed with lichen and dirt.
The wording is very brief on both memorials. On Revd Robert and wife all I could see was names and dates.
However on Kate's it reads In loving memory of Kate Alicia Longden only daughter of Revd Robert Knight Longden.
The wording is on the front of the tiers.
I might be able to pop back - soft bristle brush in hand ?
