My Wonderful & Funny Father

Hi
I am trying to find the parents of Susannah Crowe b abt 1816 in Mendlesham. She married, in 1836, George Edwin Reynolds also b abt 1816 in Mendlesham and by 1851 they had moved to Shadwell in London.
His parents were John & Susannah (George's IGI chr). I can find nothing for Susannah as they already had a family by the time of the 1841 census.

Will it mean a trip to Ipswich or are there other avenues I can try first?

The Suffolk Record Office sells most of its Anglican Parish Records on microfiche.

Consequently many members have access to them, and some visit the SRO regularly and are willing to lookup for others.  However, if no one is able to help you with this, it might be worth contacting the volunteer who offers lookups from the Mendlesham PRs at The Suffolk Surname List.

If I can't discover any info online I live about 40 miles from Ipswich so a trip will be in order I think.
