Looking for place of birth for my grandfather William Tracey, who married Jean Bryan circa 1933.  Hoping marriage certificate might show William's place of origin.  The marriage service would have been catholic.

Marriages on Scotlandspeople only go up to 1932.
Their marriage would need to be searched either by GROS or in person.

Details of his birth won't be on his marriage cert. but it will give you his parents names or do you already have his parents?

There are 24 William Tracy(ey) births on SP between 1890 and 1916

Hi - thanks for getting back to me.

I know his parents' names already (James Tracey and Mary O'Rourke).  I know the family came from Ireland, including all of William's children, so the William's on SP are not my ancestors.

Oh well, I'll keep trying - thanks again!
