Check out the British Columbia Vital Events Index at http://www.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/textual/governmt/vstats/v_events.htm#indexes.

I didn't see any Garnett/Adams marriages. I did find a death of Alice Maud Adams, age 84, on 25Jul1963 at West Vancouver. A match?

Do you know approximately when she was born?

http://www.findmypast.com/passengerListPersonSearchStart.action - a variety of possibilities here for her emigration.

Then on the link I posted, there's an Alice M. Adams b. 1884 going Liverpool - Canada (Quebec) in 1910.

I can't find any Alice Maud(e) Adams born around the right time in Cornwall - do you have her in any censuses in England? Who were her parents?

Probably the husband is Anthony Garnet Bickle, b. Dec quarter 1882 Tavistock (freebmd).

Ancestry seems to suggest that there's a marriage in Ontario for 'Anthony Ganat Bickle' to 'Alice Maude Mary Adams'.

http://www.islandnet.com/cgi-bin/ms2/jveinot/search - if you search in the Ontario Cemetery Index, for Bickle in Whitby, Durham Co, you can see there's an A. G. Bickle (Dave) and an Alice M. Bickle both buried there - no dates, you'd have to contact the appropriate section of the OGS for details.

Ontario Death Indexes show a Kathelene Margaret Bickle, died Jul 9 1915, aged just 5 hours - daughter of Anthony Garnet Bickle and Alice Maud Adams. At that time they were in Oshawa, Ontario.
