In the 1881 census this may be them living at 142 Garngad Rd, Glasgow
   
James CUMING,age 51,born Glasgow Occupation Railway Carter
Wife
Jane CUMING,age 52, born Kirkintilloch

Children
Son : Alexander CUMING,aged 14, born Glasgow, Occupation Compositor Printer
Daughter : Lillias CUMING,aged 11, born Glasgow, Occupation Scholar
