Need help in finding:BEARE/Marazion
« on: Sunday 20 July 08 17:53 BST (UK) »

I am out of ideas as to where I can find any information regarding the sons of James and Hannah Beare/Bear and any help will be appreciated.
Most have disappeared after 1881.

William James born abt 1863 Gulval, Richard Henry born abt 1865 Gulval, and George born abt 1870. they are living with their parents at Laze Lane in 1881 but after that they have disappeared.

Robert born abt 1875 is with his parents in 1891 at Lays Lane Marazion but by 1901 he has disappeared

Thank-you for the reply Smiley

Elizabeth emigrated to the US and eventually to Canada and I recently found the marriage of Annie.

possible marriages   Undecided

Richard Henry Beare march qtr 1910 Penzance vol 5c pg 453 to Eliza Jane Curnow or Catherine Jane Bennets
suspect it might be Curnow as there are births registered Penzance with Bennets as mother's maiden name and married name Smith, which was other male name on that page number.

William James Beare sept qtr 1908 Penzance vol 5c pg 472 to Bessie McFadyman or Lilian May Trudgeon.
Suspect it was Bessie as birth regs
Vera M Beare sept qtr 1912 Penzance vol 5c pg 403 &
Miriam Beare dec qtr 1917 Penzance vol 5c pg 268
have McFadyean as mother's maiden name.

Thanks to you both Smiley

The 1908 and 1910 marriages for those Beare's would make them in their 40's so I aren't too sure but may be I will order a certificate for one at least.

I have used both of those sites in the past and the http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kayhin/ukocp.html

has been very useful.
