Sniffing out the ancestors

Robert Gall born abt 1867 in Crawfordjohn, Lanarkshire
Catherine ? born abt 1878 in Douglas, Lanarkshire

Robert was single in the 1891 Census but was listed Groom, Domestic Servant being born in Douglas, Lanarkshire. (he had been living in Douglas since abt  1871.)

In the 1901 Census for Lanark, Lanarkshire, he is back to being listed as born in Crawfordjohn, but is now Robert Logan Gall Domestic Coachman. His wife is Catherine Gall born abt 1878 in Douglas, Lanarkshire and they have a child Mary Maria Gall born abt 1900 in Lanark, Lanarkshire.

I have been unable to find a marriage for them or a birth/christening for Mary Maria Gall to be able to find Cathering Gall's maiden name. This is what I would like to discover.

Where did you look?  Scotlandspeople (pay-to-view) have the marriage of Robert Logan Gall to Catherine Hamilton 1898 Bellshill, Lanark
They also have 2 possible births:
1899 Mary Kerr Gall   Holytown Lanark
1900 Mary Murray Gall   Lanark  (perhaps the Murray was Maria on census?)

I viewed the second one, b. 12th May 1900, Chopland Cottage, Lanark, parents were Robert Logan Gall, coachman and Catherine nee Hamilton
