My Great Grandmother was born 1865 in Pleasant Street West Bromwich. Her parents were living in Aston in 1861 and Birmingham in 1871. In 1881 her parents, Joseph and Emma Cooper, were living at 36 Pleasant Street. If I can locate any family living in Pleasant Street in 1861 and 1871 I can visit my local library and scan through all the records for Pleasant Street looking for a possible place/family that she could have been born.
1871 census Pleasant Street, West Bromwich is at RG10 piece 2979 folio 75 page 12 and onwards, starting with Ceasar John LOLE, b.1845 West Brom, Staffordshire
1861 census : RG 9 piece 2025 folio 39 page 1 starts with James Moore b.1818 West Bromwich, widower
Hope this helps, (unless you'd like to name possible surnames to look for) Barbara

Thank you for looking. The info will be very useful. My Great Grandmother was Chris Dianah (Christiana) Cooper born 18 August 1865 at Pleasant Street West Bromwich. Her father was Joseph and her mother Emily (Emma) Jane. Possible maiden name was Herrington.
I have both the birth certificate for Cris Dainah and the marriage cert for Joseph and Emily Jane. Unfortunately, the birth of Cris D shows her mothers maiden name as 'Cooper' ie her married name. I have never found a marriage between Joseph Cooper and Emily Cooper. In 1861 Joseph and Emily were living with her mother, Christiana Meaking, formerly Herrington. (married name)
