Harriett Smith 1861 and 1871 census
« on: Monday 21 July 08 20:30 BST (UK) »

Im trying to find her in 1861 and 1871

I Know its a long shot because of the surname but I am looking for Harriett Smith born abt 1856 Hartpury.
Her fathers name was Joseph.
She married before the census in 1881 and died in 1885.

I have her born in Hartpury from the 1881 census but she was living in Colwall when she married and one of the witnesses was a Mary Crook.

Hi Arranroots
I think I have worked out the Wood Smith name in 1861
Harriett and Henry are brother and sister. They are with their widowed mother in 1851 HO107/1960/445/12.
I was hoping I could find them in 1841 but had no joy by the time the archives closed.
In 1881 their mother was with Henry and Esther  must have remarried widowed again surname is Blake.RG11/2530/100/15 cant find Henry or his mother in 1871.
