Can anyone help we with the marriage of William Stevens & Phoebe Higgs married Jul 3 1833 Old Church St Pancras.  Would Like any info with regards to this marriage.  Also sons William born 1833 and Charles born 1837.  Thanks

Just for information St Pancras Old Church ceased to be a parish in 1822 so this marriage would have taken place at St Pancras Church on Euston Road.

From the marriage register of 'The Parish of St Pancras'

William Stevens of this parish bachelor
and Phoebe Higgs of this parish spinster
were married in this church by Banns
this third day of July 1833
by me E Hannam Curate
This marriage was solumnized between us
Wm Stevens (signed his name)
Phoebe Higgs X Mark
in the presence of
John Kates (signed his name, could be taken as Keats now ?)
Sarah Elizabeth Parker or Pur?er (signed her name but badly written and not enough duplicate letters to work it out) Sorry

Sons William & Charles don't appear in the baptism register index
