I am indebted to all who have helped me in this search. Everyone has been so kind. Thank you. 
I am trying now, so far unsuccessfully, to trace the Wallmann family connection back to Germany. Where is Perne? A town/village/urban area? Pre German unification birthdate of Heinrich (1819) makes it all the more difficult. I have never tried to find any information in Germany before!
