Hi,
I would apprecate some help to find this marriage-

John French born Aylesford 1848
and Emily born 1848 Aylesford.

the first child I know of is, Henry James French born 1870 Aylesford

No success so far.

Have you got a birth cert of any of the children to find Emily's maiden name?
I see they had loads - see 1891 census RG12 668 35 27 and 1881 RG11 898 33 30 - shout if you havnet got the details and would like them

also (it looks like?) John's father was henry
Emily Cole's father was James

maybe that's why their first chld was Henry james French?Huh?
