KENNEDY and LATTA

Hello all,

I have a couple of families that may hail from Donegal.

I'm looking for Halliday KENNEDY and Lydia LATTA. All I know of them comes from the marriage certificate of their son Samuel KENNEDY. In the 1861 census for Kilmarnock, Ayr, he lists his birthplace as "Ireland" and his 1862 marriage cert gives parents names.

I have looked at the Griffiths Valuation index and found four records of LATTA's in Donegal - three in Taughboyne, one in Bready and one in Lettermore, Convoy, his name was David LATTA. So I searched those areas to see if there were any KENNEDY's. I could only find some in Convoy, specifically Lettermore. I found one - his name was John KENNEDY.

How do I find more information about my Halliday and Lydia and children - including Samuel?  Samuel was born c. 1823 and his parents died before his wedding in 1862.

Hopefully someone has some leads to this elusive family of mine.
