Sorry patvp

Just had a good look through the 1881 census cd for Scotland only - can't seem to find the couple or son by himself.  Perhaps someone with more experience will be able to help.  Regards,  Steve  :O)

Hi,

There is a family on FSO 1881 census Duncan, Mary and John, ages 46, 43 and 21.
Dwelling, Mount Pleasant
Census Place, Llanferres, Denbigh, Wales
Occupation for Duncan - Land Steward (Farm Bailiff)
Occupation for John - Game Keeper

All born in Scotland, could this be them?

Regards Marg

Well Marg am absolutely STAGGERED  Grin Shocked with that bit of news, needed a glass of wine to get over it.LOL
Talk about connections. Duncan's sister Jane married Robert Stewart (they were my g/g/grandparents) their daughter Jane Stewart married James McKay (my g/grandparents) and in 1881 guess where they were...Rhos Farm Llanferres ..Denbighshire Wales. and I have a photo of present day Llaferres on my wall.
Thank you so much..patvp
