« on: Thursday 24 July 08 15:17 UTC (UK) »

Searching for any information on my Gr Gr Grandparents Thomas Yeates born 1838 in Lugwardine, Herefordshire and Caroline Nash born Have found him on the 1840 in Wormsley, Herefordshire. Have found them on the 1871 Census after they got married but having trouble locating them prior to this. Therefor can not find their parents etc.
Any help greatly appreciated.

1851:
HO107/1977 541 4

(Marriage Jun 1848 Hereford & c 26 283 John Warr - Sarah Yeates)

Just realising you said you have him in 1841 in Wormsley - isn't he the boy in Lugwardine:
HO107/425/5 16 6?  Huh

Hello Tati,
Sorry for confusing you. I just reread my message and seen the error.
Thomas Yeates was born 1838 in Lugwardine
Caroline Nash was born 1840 in Wormsley
I think they were married in 1869

I must reread my messages before i post them, Sorry Embarrassed

Many thanks,

Not a problem. Do you agree Thomas has been found now?  Smiley

Hello Tati

I agree with you that this is Thomas, and from the looks of it his brothers as well.
The last Caroline you proposed looks a very likely candidate.
Thanks for all your help.
