William & Jane FARROW of Sudbury
« on: Thursday 24 July 08 23:04 BST (UK) »

Hi all Wink

Trying to trace the above ancestors,  William Farrow b 1799 married Jane Norman b abt 1800 Sudbury, married 1821 at All Saints, Sudbury.   Had several children:-

William Charles b 1821
Jane b 1823
Mary Ann b1825
Henry 1826
Caroline b 1828

Have searched census and cannot locate anywhere,   Roll Eyes

Can anybody else find them,  surely not all have died off before 1841 Cry

Regards

1841 - There is a Caroline Farrow aged 15 living in Kent but shown as not born in county.  She was a pupil in what appears to be a school for girls

HO107 Piece 468; Book: 5  Folio: 58; Page: 9

If it's not her - ? possible emigration of family

Something else to bear in mind - apart from Caroline, the other children were old enough to be working away from home and Jane was old enough to be married

Also - ages were rounded down to the nearest 5 years from age 16 up in 1841 so (eg) Jane would appear as age 15 when she was actually 18
