Looking for details of marriage of James Dewbery and Sarha Hall 1803 Godmanchester. Would like to establish names of parents of James.

Hunts Marriage Index shows James as being of the parish of St Nicholas, Ipswich, and Sarah otp. The BVRI gives the date of the marriage as 17 Oct 1803. For full details you need to consult a microfilm of the parish register as there's no transcript available from Hunts FHS. Microfilms can be ordered from and viewed at your nearest Family History Centre of the LDS.

But prior to 1837 marriage entries did not give fathers' names, just the names of the witnesses, so you are most unlikely to establish parents names from a marriage. You need to find the baptism for those details
