Another MARGARET SUTHERLAND!

I am trying to find d/b of Margaret Sutherland,
ICI says she married Thomas Nixon 24th March 1823 St. Dustan, Stephney London.
I never realised there were so many Sutherlands in Scotland!
1841 census index is Mixon and states she was born in Ireland
but I wonder if this is correct.
Any help would be appreciated.

Tricky one:

The 1851 HO107/1744  F 167 P 16  says she was b. Scotland. Aged 52 - but 45-49 on the 1841.

I think the key might be son, Thomas - ages 15-19 on the 1841 but also down as being born Ireland.

Also the 1861 has her b. Scotland circa 1796:

RG9/956 F. 26 P. 1.

I'll have acloser look at the I on the 1841 - maybe it's a badly written S  Undecided

Margaret's P of B is the top one and I've put up a couple of Ss from the same page . I'm still searching for another I - now found.

HO107/803 folio 8 page 10

Thomas aged 15 born Scotland
Robert            14         Kettering
Alexander       12         Corby
Georgina         11         Corby
James               7          Kettering
Alfred                5             "
Margaret Jane   2             "

Thomas and Alfred have the mddle name of Sutherland

I'm thinking that son Thomas was b. Ireland - have you followed him up on the 1851?  He's not on the Scottish OPRs 1822-27  either as Nixon or Sutherland  Undecided

There's a very strong possible for son Thomas on the 1851 - in Weekley which is not far from Kettering -  HO107/1744 F 464 P 10.

Aged 27, a painter and decorator,  married to an Elizabeth. Born London, Middlesex. This ties in with a bpt. on the IGI -

St Botolph, Bishopsgate.  19 Dec 1824: Thomas Nixon. Father: Thomas Nixon. Mother: Margaret

Many thanks Gadget for the information on Thomas jnr - I do have
the details of him and his wife Elizabeth Mace.
My gr gr grandfather was his son James Thomas b 1853 -
I guess I was trying to go back a bit further, but it seems more idfficult
the further away it is.
