Looking for any information on a Thomas Lockie m. 1895 to Elizabeth Fowler Linton.
1901 lived Caterhaugh Cott. with wife and daughter Isabella Fairgrieve Lockie aged 2, Thomas was ploughman.
Had moved to Melrose by 1929.

Hi

To save any duplicated info - can you confirm whether you already have all relevant census info up to 1901

1901 shows Thomas Lockie was b Melrose Roxburgh 1867

Both died in Melrose and buried in Weirhill Cemetery Huntly road Melrose. The inscription reads Elizabeth Fowler Linton beloved wife of  Thomas LOCKIE who died at Melrose 23rd Dec 1938 aged 71yrs and above Thomas Lockie who died 28th June 1947 aged 80yrs.

Weirhill Cemetery is on CD available trou  www.bordersfhs.org.uk and includes map and headstone position. I know i transcribed it!

Thank you both, have relevant info up to 1901, but could only find 1 child at Selkirk.
Have Melrose Abbey M.I but not the Weirhill.
