Exactly what sort of information are you wanting to find?
Patrick's birth certificate will list exact place and date of birth as well as parents (unless illegitimate, then only mother listed).
If you are trying to find what happened to Patrick, children, etc. then it will be more difficult as such records will almost certainly not be online.

Don't understand the question. Birth certificate can be ordered from GRO (such recent records will not be online).
Another option is to find him in 1911 census but to do so you need to know where the family was living at the time and really need parents' names to verify you've located the correct Patrick Minihan. Several ways to get 1911 census. 1) view it in Ireland, 2) order it from your local LDS library on microfilm for a small fee to be viewed there. Both options require you to know where the family were living. Third choice is to wait until National Archives, Dublin put Co. Limerick online.
Also, if the family lived in the city of Limerick:

For County Limerick:
