The National Archives has a great new tutorial for deciphering documents.  Not only interesting but VERY useful too,

This is one of those topics which appears over and over again on RootsChat.

I usually respond by referring chatters to the RootsChat Reference Library and specifically to the RootsChat Lexicon of Genealogical Terms and Abbreviations.

The topic is there - but under 'Old English in Wills' which refers to the following thread:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,239704
A post of mine on that thread at:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,239704.16.html
refers to the sites listed above inter alia.

I've posted suggesting to Berlin-Bob that the topic could usefully be cross-referenced in the Lexicon under 'Handwriting' and 'Old Handwriting' and 'Palaeography' and 'Secretary Hand' and 'Scottish Handwriting'.

Regards,
