Cornelius Fisk Goodwin (1880-1961)

Hi Sandra
I stand to be corrected, but so far as I am aware the 1851 Census pieces for Dunmow were lost many years ago. (And I can't see Aaron living elsewhere.)
Best bet would be to track down his birth certificate.
Dave

Have you found him on the 1861 census onwards?
There can't be too many men with that name around!

Well I've spotted him on the 1871 and 1891 census' and he gives his place of birth as Great Dunmow or Dunmow.
I presume you already know about his later life and just want to take a generation step back?

Once you've got that birth certificate it will hopefully give you lots more clues which will enable you to find lots more "missing" family. Don't forget you'll get a new surname to research too!
This is one of those never ending hobbies..... and don't we all love it!!!
