Mary was born in Scotland Abt 1870, It is possible her mother was Helen Davidson who married Stewart Cruickshank in 1869, Old Machar. She then disappears for approx 28 years. She reappears in Hanover Sq London where she marries James Kerss also of Scotland (prev in the employ of Newbattle Abbey) in St Georges, Sept 1898. She gives her address as 9 Berkeley St, which is either the address or very close to the site that Devonshire House once occupied, her father is named as James Anderson.
She returns with her husband to his new employer at Melton Mowbray and delivers their first child Margaret Helen.
In 1901 they are at Waltham Abbey, Beechwood Park Lodge, Essex. Ralph George Kerss in born 1901 Essex.
1908 James Roy is born Lewisham, London, in 1910 Evelyn P Kerss was born in Kingston, Surrey. In 1913 Mary dies in Kingston.
Can anyone help me as to where Mary Cruickshank Anderson was between 1870 and 1898. Who her parents were etc. It is possible that her mother married twice, and that is where the Anderson comes in.

Definately got that one - but having probs with the kids, as that marriage Helen to Stewart was 1869. Mary born 3 mnths later.
Also trying to figure where the Anderson came in too.
