I think your next move would be to try to verify that these are definitely your guys. Since Alexander's death date was likely 1938, he might be the best one to pursue. You could try ordering his death certificate - directions here for Massachusetts, assuming he died there which we don't know for sure: http://tinyurl.com/mz92t Otherwise, you might want to try to get his obituary and hope that there are some clues as to relatives or where he was from. I haven't had any luck finding one in the North Adams newspapers on Ancestry or newspaperarchives.com, but maybe there are others available. The local library might also have some sort of death index of their own. You could try e-mailing them to see what, if anything, they could check for you. Also, there was a researcher for Berkshire County on raogk.com who might have other ideas to figure it out.

I don't have any experience with Massachusetts records, but death certificates from other states typically have the deceased's parents' names on them. Also, it may give place of birth. It may just say "Scotland", but if you're lucky, it would have the town where he was born.
