Mead(s), Walter Midenham (Medmenham)
« on: Friday 15 August 08 13:46 BST (UK) »

Hi,

1901 census for Marsh Baldon (RG11/1133/28 p13) lists Walter Meads, a game keeper aged 27 from Bucks., Midenham with wife Louisa aged 33 from Berks., Bray and daughter Winifred aged 3.

I cannot find any earlier trace of Walter from usual sources (IGI, FreeBMD etc) - is anyone else researching the Mead(s)? Any help most welcome.

Wozzle, Tati,

Thank you both for your answers.

Tati, apologies for not remembering your reply to my earlier post - I lost my db and my backup was three old! Got stuck at same point for lack of hard copy certificates - something I must address!

Where do you find the census results so quickly? Do you have a CD or something?

How do I mark this thread as complete?

No prob, tj! Was just wondering if you had trouble viewing the details!  Smiley

Most of us have subscriptions to websites offering access to census.

To mark this complete, go back to the first post of the thread and click 'modify' to add 'complete' to the heading  Smiley

You don't say three what your db was old - hope it wasn't 3 years!! Shocked Tongue
