Could anyone lookup George Griffiths born 1853 according to a later sensus as Basford have tried in Local Basford to no avail, his Father was Isaac James Griffiths his mother Ann Griffiths nee Clews or Clewes,any info gladly recieved.

Hi Griffo,
There are two marriages listed for grooms called George Griffiths, in the town of Nottingham:
George Griffiths married Eliza Brown 12 Jan 1874 at Nottingham St Ann
George Griffiths married Elizabeth Perry 28 Mar 1875 at Nottingham St Mark
Will look for them for you on 1881 census, and see if it says where both were born.

Hi again,
Only other George Griffiths in area (Lenton) was born in Worcestershire.
Just been looking for George's birth, but can't track it down - only George born to an Isaac and Ann is George Clay born 20 Oct 1858 at Mansfield St John.
No Griffiths children born in Notts area for ten years around 1853
