Look up-Jeremiah sheehan, Pilltown

Jeremiah Sheehan was a land surveyor. With the famine of 1845 he came to England with my ggrandfather Michael sheehan b. 1840. he gave his place of birth as Pilltown and was probably RC. He ended up in Stockport, Cheshire where he married Alice ramsdale in 1862. Any further information gratefully received. Jim Phelan

Have them on the 1881 census ( RG11/3479  folio 107 page 20  Stockport,Cheshire)      Michael was born in Kilkenny, Ireland, Alice was from Warrington, Lancs plus 5 daughters and 2 sons.  can send image if you want. send e-mail by personal message
