Martha Middleton on 1851 census age 6 (HO107 P2306 F331 Pg 21) with parents William 53 and Ann 36 plus siblings James 13 and Eliz 11. Living in Bradford, West Yorkshire.
Where are they on the 1861 census??
Martha then married Thomas Porritt in 1863. I think they may have "split" before 1871 but I cannot find Martha on 1871 census either.
I have a possible death for her in 1875 - Martha Porritt Q2 1875 Bradford but this is not confirmed.
I have searched and searched for Martha Middleton and the only one I can come up with at the moment for 1861 is as follows.
Living in a lodging house in the hamlet of Adwalton is
William Walton Head Single John Houseroft Lodger Single James Midleton Lodger married age 22 born Wortley (which is a district of Leeds I gather) coal miner Eliza Midleton Wife age 24 born Bradford wool cloth weaver Martha Midleton age 17 Sister Single born Woodhouse Carr (Leeds district again I gather) cloth weaver.
On Martha's marriage certificate does it state her occupation by any chance.
