Hi Peter

Thanks for that really grateful!!!
Could I be really cheeky you couldn't see if you could find Joseph Spencer for me in 1861, I've just found him in 1871 and 1881.he was still in the Wrenbury area.
Also the  grandson John Cooper found him in1871 marrried I'm hoping that he might have been with his parents in 1861

Thankyou very much for all the info you've given me so far. the family tree's getting bigger by the day
Regards
Cheryl

Hi Peter

The Details for Joseph's son, William for 1861 would be wonderful thankyou, I didn't like ask for those as well.

Don't know for sure who John Cooper's parents were the only reason I know about him is because you picked him up on the 1851 details you gave me.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hi Peter

I had an email last night from my Cousin Richard he has got the info from the baptist records at St Margarets Church in Wrenbury which has 9 spencer children listed with George and Rebbecca as parents.
Here is a list of the children he found:
Joseph bap 30/12/1802, John bap 29/12/1805,Ann bap 7/8/1807,Sarah bap 17/03/1811,William bap 1814,Another John bap 19/7/1816 (he is my Gt Gt Grandfather which I found on the Census),Samuel bap 18/3/1819,Thomas bap 4/2/1824 and Mary bap 20/11/1825.
Joseph you kindly found for me.
I have found a marriage for Mary to Edward Platt which confirms that the Eliza Platt living with Joseph in 1851 is his sister Mary's daughter.
So Iam assuming that the Grandson listed as John Cooper is either Sarah or Mary's son.

Hope this all makes sense.
Richard and I are now working together to trace our family tree which we are finding a lot easier  as we can compare notes.I knew that my mother was 1 of 16 children but until I started this I didn;t realize that  the previous generations were also large families as well.
Really grateful for your help
