1871 Bootle
William Price age 43 born Flintshire
Margaret his wife age 37 born Anglesea
William son14 born Birkenhead
Griffith son 12 born Birkenhead

                Here they are in 1861

RG9-2641-F 42. 120 Wood St. Holy Trinity Birkenhead.

William Price head 32   dock labourer  St. Asaph Flintshire
Margaret ~   wife  28                                  ~        ~
William    ~     son   4                            Birkenhead
Griffith     ~      ~     2                                   ~

Because I cannot find a marriage for them in Cheshire I have not searched the 1851,do you know where and when ?

Hi Peter

I am actually looking for Edward Price and was hoping he would be with that family but I was wrong.

Edward Price was born Birkenhead not sure when
1881 he is 31
1891 he is 45
and marriage in 1879 he is 29
so birth range is 1846/51
on marriage his father is Willam a builder

thanks again fir the info at least I can rule that one out.
