Definitely not 1901.

I agree with Pru 1920s.

Looks like a mothers meeting so there would be no connection to family - just location.

Looks Australian.

Good point, Suttonrog - I didn't pay nearly enough attention to the clothes.  Those "cloche" style hats always remind me of the 1920s fashions.
