Hi,

Hoping someone living in the Milton, Toowong area might be able to help in locating a family home, according to the electoral rolls my GG Grandmother Mary Fairbanks was living at 22 Manning St, Milton from at least 1919 to 1936, apparently Mary bought the house which isn't very far from the XXXX Brewery and with the help of her daughter Annie they took in borders. Would love to know if the house is still there and if possible get a photo of it.

Hi Nari

There are not a lot of the original houses left on Manning Street in Milton anymore.  Most of them have been replaced by multi storey units. 

Have you checked on Googlemaps yet?  That part of Brisbane has been photographed at street level and it gives you a good look at where 22 used to be.....

Had a look on Googlemaps and it gives a great view of the street and surrounding area, a shame the houses are no longer there though.
