I am looking for information on John Knowles (b.Oldcoats Nottinghamshire about 1857.  He was married in Bradford about 1878, to Priscilla Robinson and had one son. John Thomas, before they left for Australia in 1883.
Any information re John, his parents, his siblings I would be most grateful to have.   Thanks, Rosalind.

IN 1871 JOHN APPEARS TO BE A SERVANT IN YORKSHIRE TO A FAMILY CALLED BARKER, THE ADDRESS WAS MARR HALL AND SAMUEL BARKER WAS A FARMER OF 490 ACRES.


JOHN KNOWLES, SERVANT, UNMARRIED, AGE 14, FARM SERVANT BORN OLDCOTES NOTTINGHAMSHIRE.
