Overseas or Death at Sea- Thomas Newton

Dear All
I am hoping for a bit of help with this I have a death I cant seem to find it was between 1871 and 73 he was a seaman in Merchant or Royal navy some documents have him listed as both by 1873 his wife had remarried stating she was a widow. In 1871 he was listed as being in Plymouth. I was wondering if some kind person has the access to the overseas deaths.

Hello Gadget,

Can I be cheeky  Wink, I'm looking for my gg grandad William Jasper Richards, he died between 1872 and 1878 at sea.  He was a merchant seaman, living in Plymouth.

Could you check the FMP records for him?, or let me know where I could access them?.
