It is with great sadness that we tell you that our dear friend Ray lost his fight with cancer late last night.
We shall all remember him for his great kindness and generosity to all his fellow family historians.
I know John and I will miss his cheery visits to Suffolk, when he would inevitably end up at my PC tweaking it to make things better.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife Tryna, and children Amber, Becky and James and also Susanne, Michael and Julia.
Pat and John Bridges ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The family would like messages to be left on the web site Guest Book - that way they can easily read the many messages of condolence and sympathy.
If you would like to express your thoughts, please go to www.cosford-database.co.uk and Guest Book (scroll down home page) www.suffolk-surnames-list.co.uk click on button on bottom left list on home page
Thank you - and thank you for the wonderful messages I have received. We shall all miss Ray and his invaluable help and kindness.
Pat ...
Several of you have asked if donations can be made in memory of Ray - please contact me PM for details of the hospice in Ray's home town, which is the charity chosen by the family.

Thank you for letting us know Pat. My condolences to his family and friends.
Ray is my genealogy hero ... he shared Suffolk family information with me many years ago. His encouragement and generosity motivates my continuing search for Suffolk roots.
