hi all,

this is a sub note to the other post about this person. I have since found that, the parents I were looking for I had all the time. That is Carpenter and Mary.

What I would like to ask now is if someone could please do a look up for the parents of Carpenter married to Sarah Heiter. I think that this Carpenter was born about 1710.

I do apologise for the mix up and if I have wasted anybody's time with the wrong look up. I do realise that everybody's time is valuable and I do appreciate it.

Carpenter Price bapt 2 Mar 1710 Warminster father John Price. (FHL film 1279363).  Unfortunately no mothers' names are recorded at this time in the parish.

There are children of John Price baptised from 1698 to 1721 in Warminster at intervals which would indicate all the same family.  The last two in 1718 and 1721 gives a mother's name - Elizabeth.

The children are:
Mary 23 Dec 1698
William 1 Jan 1700 (don't know if this new style or not)
Richard 4 Feb 1702 (same applies)
John 29 Dec 1705
Edward 19 May 1708
Carpenter 2 Mar 1710
Thomas 31 Oct 1713
Doctor 26 Mar 1716
James 1 Mar 1718
Anne 3 Nov 1721

(I have looked at Warminster parish register but I can't find in my notes if the vicar used OS or NS dates prior to 1752)

There are no marriages for John Price to anyone in Warminster that fit this family.  He must have married in another parish (not included on BVRI2).  I've tried the Wiltshire marriage licences too, no luck  Sad

thank you for doing this look up. I did have some of those names but not all of them, so I will put in the rest and see what I come with.

I have been told that one of John's great x3 father had 19 children, so I can see where he got it from............lol. Just for a matter of interest, John's wife is Elizabeth but what her last name, anybody's guess.
