Thomas METCALF & Susan FARRANTS

Hi,

Can anyone give me a hand please?  I am looking for information on this couple, I have had no luck with a birth date for either of them so any help would be great.  All I know about them is that they had a son in March of 1812 who was born in Stansfield, Suffolk.  His name was William and he emmigrated to Aust in 1839.

1801  /MEDCALF  THO/  FARRANTS  SUS  /STANSFIELD  /SUFFOLK 


According to the 1851 census Thomas was born in Stradishall.

Found this on the IGI

Thomas Metcalf bap. 18th October, 1777 at Stradishall,
son of

William Metcalf
Ann Chapman


and from Boyds again.

I had a look at Stansfield PR today and found some baptisms for children of Thomas and Susan Metcalf (written consistently as Medcalf in the PR).

All children of Thomas and Susan:

Susan 19 Dec 1802
David 23 Oct 1803
Thomas 12 May 1805 (also buried 12 May 1805)
Eliza 11 Sept 1808
Susan 24 July 1810
William 15 March 1812
Maria 2 Jan 1813
Mary 28 Dec 1817
George 8 Aug 1819
Joshua 3 Jun 1821 (could be Joshua but first letter looked like an H?)
Matilda 17 Aug 1823

Thomas Medcalf and Susan Farrants married in Stansfield on 25th Dec 1801.
