The Mearns is the name of the area to the south of NE Scotland. It covers the area roughly the same as Kincardineshire.

I found this on the site you say Gadget and was interested as my husbands family are from that ares and the name of Mearns
Isabell I have been into that site before when I first started searching for the family
I hope to visit these places in September
