1861 Birkenhead lookup

Hi

Can anyone look up HARRY ROE (born Lowestoft in 1847) in Tranmere, Birkenhead.  He was living at Thompson Street, Tranmere in 1871, with his wife (marriage 1870).

But I am trying to find where he was in 1861.

           Sorry no Roe in Birkenhead/Tranmere 1861 there were a few Row/Rowe but non with an Harry, do you have a fathers name,you may find the father in 1871/1881 and work backwards ?

Hi

Thanks for checking.  Harry's father was unknown and I believe that his mother died in the early 1850's.  So I am trying to find what happened to him after he was born in 1847 and turned up in Cheshire in 1871.

HI my name is Keith Ryan.
Have you tried looking under another spelling of the name ie= ROUE
Reason being i have been tracing The Surname of Roue for some years now and found most of the family under ROWE. I  even had the 1901 census changed on the spelling
Hope you don't mind me contacting you but i am sure i have seen A Harry Roue somewhere

            Many thanks for the thought,I did look under all the R's, cant remember there being any Roue indexed on the 1861 Birkenhead.

Thanks for that idea Keith.  I have looked for Roe and Rowe but hadn't thought of Roue.  I retrace some of my steps.
