Hi both  Smiley

This looks like a very likely family in 1841 (the ages are out in 1851 but the children are shown as born Abdon)

1841
HO107/928/8 7 10
Priors Ditton, Shropshire
Middleton

Benjamin Harding, head, 45, Lab
Elizabeth, 36
Mary, 13
William, 9
Sarah, 7
Benjamin, 1

Not sure if Ellesmere is far away from Priors Ditton? There's this possible Thomas:

HO107/918/6 8 10
Ellesmere, Shropshire

Elizabeth Reynolds, 60
John, 25
Thomas, Harding, 12, Ag lab
Richard Alexander, 13, Ag lab
Mary Reeves, 17, Female Servant

All born in county

Really no idea whether he is the correct boy in 1841, but the family headed by Benjamin looks quite good to me - not that many Hard*n* families born Abdon!  Cheesy

Thanks for info on the harding family. On further investigation I have tracked the siblings of Thomas and their christening dates(all born in Abdon) assuming the correct parents are Benjamin and Elizabeth(nee Davies). I have also found their possible marriage and a birth date for Benjamin(1793 Holdgate). However Thomas's birth details elude me despite looking on the IGI index under Abdon and all surrounding areas.
can you help?
