Am trying to verify that the Donald McMillan and Catherine McBain who are in several extracted records in IGI are the ones who came to New Brunswick (possibly) and Nova Scotia (definitely) about 1835.
Will somebody please check 1841 census for them?
Here is what family should look like:
08 Mar 1827 a Donald McMillan married a "Catherine McBean" in Inverness, Inverness, Scotland their kids: Duncan chris. 06 MAY 1828 Inverness, Inverness, Scotland James McMillan Urquhart, Inverness, Scotland b 11 May 1832, chris. 30 May 1832 Margaret b & c Urquhart, Inverness, Scotland 19 Oct 1834
If they do not show up in census, then it lends more credibility that they are the same family who migrated to Canada.
