Im looking for a possible marriage between John Patterson & Jane Robson in about 1850/51, also the death of Jane in the early 1860's. Im also after the marriage of the same John Patterson to Margaret Dawson ,& Margarets death which was between 1881 &1891. John was born in Byker, Jane Im not sure where and Margaret was born in Warkworth.
Any help appreciated

You didn't provide many clues for positive identification of your folk.
Do you have them on some censuses.
As a birthplace Byker sometimes gets " rounded up " to Newcastle.
Was John a blacksmith ? In Boldon Co Durham on C1851 (2399-32-13) a single man.?
C1861 in Ryhope, Co Durham (3776-42-18) with wife Jane (born Rainton, Co Durham)?... indexed under name of Pattison ?
C1871 in Newcastle with wife Margaret (b.Warkworth) 5100-30-53.?
C1881 still with Margaret, in Byker (5066-94-27)?

Sorry Michael your right I didnt put alot of info on did I.
Yes I have census info but only for John & Margaret, for 1871 & 81 by 1891 John is a widower.
Iv only just found out tht John had a previous marriage to Jane & that she died in th early 1860's. As Im not 100% sure on this info yet I cant make a positive link with the 2 marriages. For which Iv searched free bmd and had no luck. Admittedly I only decided as I was writting my post to ask for the death of Margaret
because I was being lazy  sorry.
John could of been a Blacksmith in 1851 I'm not sure because I'd not gone that far back with him. According to the info that I recieved recently I think John proberbly did live in Ryhope in 1861

John and jane are my 2 x gt grandparents - I have copies of both marriage certificates - however I have been unable to find them on FREE CEN and I can't find them on the 1881 census.
I check this thread every week, must have missed your post. I have also contacted a few members on genes reunited who are also researching this family

where did you get the census info from. I am trying the free cen and can't find the patterson/pattieson family - finally managed to locate them on the 1881 census

I think John was still alive in 1891 as I have found him on the 1891 census no sign of margaret his wife or their daughter megy
