Hi
Just a thought, but if the child did survive maybe it is with her family.
Can anyone find them on 1861??

Hi
We don't know there was a child - it's only an assumption that she may have died as the result of childbirth
If there was a child we don't know whether it was male or female or what it's name was
We don't know when it was born between 1852-1861

Hi
Eventually found the Peacocks in 1851. Under the name Seacock, including Mary Ann. Living at Aldborough Farm, Middleham, Leyburn.

Modified - Ignore that. Just found the same family in 1861 it is not the Peacocks we are looking for as Mary Ann not Mary Jane is still living there as unmarried. At first I thought she was called Mary Ann by mistake in 1851 (wishful thinking). Sorry. So the family Carole found in 1841 was the one I have been finding too.

The problem is William is a Ship Wright and not a farmer
Maybe the family didn't originate from Yorkshire at all and we need to look further a field.

There is a Mary Peacock born 1832 Nunnington, Yorkshire visiting a farming family in Kirby Moorside.
HO107/2372/418/37
I live around many farms and the farming community are very close to each other even if not related. Do you think this could be a possible Mary?
Evie
Added - In the Baine's Directory of 1823 for Nunnington there are two farmers called William Peacock
