Hi
Would anyone be able to help with this?
I'm trying to find William Grose, a draper, his wife Deborah and their son William on the 1851 Census.
In 1841 they were living in St Austell. William and Deborah were both aged 25. William and his son were both born in Cornwall. However, Deborah was not. William, their son, was aged 4 months in 1841.
Hope someone can help.
Many thanks.
Jayson

Hi Suz
Thanks for this! Yes, this is the same family. However, I couldn't locate them on the 1851 census at all. In the 1871 census only Deborah's initials are given. She seems to have died in 1880 as Althea has found. They were living in St Austell in 1841.
I wonder if they went abroad for a little holiday in 1851?
Jayson
