I have kate Kirby on the 1891 census aged 13 with her mother, Elizabeth Bell (Married Charles Bell after Kate was born), aged 33 in Skelton, Yorkshire.
After this I cannot find her.  BOth kate and Elizabeth were born in Hurworth, Durham.
I beleive she married Hugh Robert Gunn in 1902 in Skelton, but can't find any record, and that they had 4 children - again can't find them anywhere. 1911 census included.
I can't even find Hugh Robert Gunn before this date. Unfortunately I know no more abut him.
Am I looking in the right places, or is my info wrong?
Any help much appreciated.

been trying to find his Mother & brother.
I suspect she was Eliza Ruth Cox, and possibly remarried a Magnus Cromarty .... but maybe brother John has died by 1891 ...

totally elusive in 1901 !
as are marriages of a Gunn to Kirby or Bell ...
However, I wondered about this birth in the Guiseboro District - MMN=Bell ? (covers Skelton)

There are no GUNN marriages in Guisborough (which includes Skelton) district from 1890 onwards.
There are a few births:
Annie Cecilia 1901
Hugh Robert 1903
Catherine 1904 death aged 0 1904
John Charles 1905
Margaret Elizabeth 1909
and a Harry with mother's maiden name Bell in 1915
Although the children born before 1911 (apart from Catherine) did not die before 1911, I can't see them on 1911 census.

Wow- you guys are hot! Thank you. I had found a couple of the post 1901 births, but lack of the family on 1901 or 1911 has me stumped- perhaps I'll need to go through skelton census page by page as maybe mistranscribed?
