crailing or crailing hall

can anyone help please im wondering if crailing is in roxburgh or jedburgh . i have managed to get my oliver/olpiher back too 1676 i have a wiliam who married a isobel herbert/son in 1698 jedburgh william was born in 1676 and isobel was born in 1678 , im tracing the oliver line . does anyone have any help for me as im stuck............................ here !!!!! thankyou in advance

Hi Mandy

Crailing is in Roxburghshire as is Jedburgh. Roxburgh is a small village nearer Kelso and both these places are also in Roxburghshire. Hope this helps.

thanks terri sorry i didnt get straight back to you. i got a phone call to say my daughterhad gone into labour and she lives 70 mile away , her first and my first lol . but alas she is holding onto him as she still has not him !!!!!!!

yes . he waited for me to get there lol. he was born at 3.56 am monday 8th sept weighing in at 6.11 thanks for your reply.

hi terri you helped me with mi,s for the oliver,s in oxnam . do you know of any other ways to trace the father or mother of william olipher who married isobel herbert/son as i cant seem to find a marriage or anything else to do with this couple they were both born in oxnam but married in jedburgh 1698, william was born in 1676 and isobel was born in 1678. ty
