2nd marriage March 1889, St. Saviour Southwark to:
Elizabeth WHILES b: 1851 Scotland
Children:
Elizabeth GIBB - 1886 Surrey, Wandsworth
John GIBB - 1887 - Surrey, Wandsworth
Eliza GIBB - 1894 Surrey, Wandsworth
Ellen GIBB - 1896 Lambeth Walk, Surrey
Ellen GIBB had one daughter in England before immigrating to Canada about 1919.

Hi
Just doing some housekeeping on the Surrey boards and going through the oldest posts. Now there are further resources available it gives a chance for old posts to be looked at again to see if the information can be found or the chance for posters to say whether this information has been answered and this topic can be completed. If it can be completed please put completed into the title of this topic and it can be moved to Surrey completed (it is never lost off Rootschat) giving more space for other topics to be looked at again by all of us to see if we can help. Birth Certificate of Ellen Gibb states James and Elizabeth lived at 18 Wake Street, Lambeth Walk, London England in 1896. Father's occupation: General Labourer. Later census shows James Gibb as a Green Grocer.
By 1911 Elizabeth Gibb has passed, Ellen is living with her father alone in Lambeth.
Have been unable to find her siblings: Elizabeth, John or Eliza
Ellen Gibb married Edward Albert Pearson in 1916, however, he was killed in WWI.
Still looking  Any help appreciated.

Sorry when you didn't respond to my message I moved your post to completed thinking you were no longer searching for the infomation. I have moved the post back to the Surrey board.
There is an 18 year old Eliza Gibb in Elham Kent whose birthplace was Lambeth on the 1911 census. The two older children seem to have had the births registered in Lambeth registration district not Wandsworth as given on the 1901 census.
An Elizabeth Gibb married William J Wellman in 1910 in Wandsworth registration district. She was aged 25 on the 1911 census so about the right age but without seeing her birthplace she could just be a complete red herring.
