Tackaberry family
« on: Saturday 30 August 08 01:01 UTC (UK) »

Hi,
I have just registered, and would like to know if anyone has any information about my gg grandfather Edward Tackaberry's family he was born about 1798 in Kilmuckridge Co. Wexford. He joined the 73rd of foot in Gorey 1822. I would like to more about his military career and who his parents were if possible also when he died.

Sounds crazy I know but I received a reply to my post from LH but there was no reply option with it so the only way I could think to get in touch with LH and say thank you  was to reply to my own post and hope LH may read it. So LH if you see this I don't  know if Edward was a Methodist or not but he married a Mary Phillips 27th feb1822 St. Marks church Wexford.

Hi Nancy,

You have only made 2 posts so far on RootsChat so you don't have the option to reply to personal messages yet. I think you need 8 posts before that option is available.

Hi

It is an unusual surname and while looking for my wife's relations in Ballycanew cemetery we saw a few headstones with Tackaberry on them would they be related to you ?
