i have a marriage certificate for John Munro married Jessie Cameron in 1858 Inverness
his parents are Alexander Munro, Margaret McKenzie
can't find any more information on them
Jessie Cameron parents are John Cameron and Jessie MacDonald.
any help will be greatly appreciated

Does the marriage cert show hold old they each were when they married?
This is a possible 1861 entry given they only married in 1858

forgot Alexander Labourer also on the cert John was Tailor and Jessie
was a Millier ( as it looks like on the cert )

Right - found them on the 1871 and John was not b in Inverness which is why I couldn't match him to his parents
1871 census for 8 Queen St Inverness. All children b Inverness

Jessie 31 b Glengardy
John A 10
Margaret A 8
Joseph 6
Donald 4
Ann & Catherine - twins aged 1

This is a submitted IGI entry which are not always reliable. If you check the IGI there are several submitted entries against those parents

John married Helen Barret in 1890 at Selkirk.
He was a Mason.
Had the marred cert. but it got stolen when all the Scottish
things

One problem I have is that I can find a John Munro of the right age and occupation on the 1851 for Stornaway
His mother is Margaret but no father shown. A lot of siblings but when I check them out on the IGI - father is Malcolm
